Ciara donnelly

Ciara works primarily in print, experimenting with both photographic imagery and mono printing using water colours through screen. She's interested in digital landscape photography and the mechanical influence the camera has on a photograph. Her use of techniques in print becomes a way of dissecting interesting elements that we would normally see in a photograph, such as colour and composition and allowing them to become seperate entities.

Donnelly investigates possible compositions and perspectives of digital landscape photography independent of the original landscape itself. She attempts to produce possibilities of perspective by layering prints and physically combining different compositions. Enjoying to experiment with combing different art practices such a film and painting allows her to investigate her subject matter further.
